There's nothing wrong with this steamer set, it's never been used, it was a sample we ordered and decided not to fully stock.
Compact and lightweight, this steamer set in three parts is truly multifunctional. The pot is the perfect size to cook for a few, or a meal with leftovers for one. The steamer rack features perforations for draining pasta or steaming vegetables, and the lid has handles to be used as a pan for cooking or bowl for eating. Everything nestles inside the bottom pot and it comes with a mesh carrying pouch to keep everything together while packed, as well as a light natural sponge to aid in cleaning.
Titanium is prized not only for its lightness, but also its strength. It's stronger than aluminum at approximately the same weight, but titanium is non-reactive and biocompatible, making it a much healthier choice for cooking. It's also naturally antimicrobial, making it great for long treks where you can't fully sanitize between uses.
Though originally designed for ultralight backpacking, titanium cookware is just as useful at home or on more casual trips. We've used ours for picnics, at the beach, and even in hotel rooms to prepare a simple homemade meal on the road.
