Carved from aromatic hinoki, Japanese cypress, this minimal soap rest features a ridged surface and slats that allow water to drain off. Hinoki is prized in Japan for its lovely pine fragrance, as well as its anti-microbial and mold-resistant qualities.
Based in the mountains of Kochi, Japan, Tosa Ryu have been handcrafting pieces for the home from local hinoki wood since 1960.
