Make your own rice balls at home with this simple onigiri mold. Handmade from Japanese hinoki, which has natural anti-microbial properties and imparts a beautiful cedar fragrance to the rice. Rinse with water before using to keep rice from sticking and make cleanup easier. Place the cutout mold on your work surface, pack half the mold with rice, add your filling of choice, and then use the flat piece to pack the rice down. Remove from the mold and wrap in nori.
