A simple wind chime in the shape of a bell that makes a delicate chime as its tanzaku ripples in the breeze. Wind bells have a deep history in Japan, dating back to the Muromachi period more than 500 years ago, and their light chimes are meant to evoke a feeling of coolness during the heat of summer.
