A generously sized rice bowl with a traditional footed design, each Minami bowl is hand-thrown and glazed by master craftsmen, making each one completely unique. Made from a dark clay body and thick white glaze that shows painterly drips and small air bubbles that create a lovely tactile feeling when holding the bowl.
Minami-gama Kiln is a second-generation handmade pottery workshop run by artist Takumi Kudo and based in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, one of the major centers of ceramic production in Japan.
