Designed to be the perfect all-purpose bowl, with a size ideal for soup, rice, cereal, and more, these beautiful bowls are glazed in a rich iron color that looks almost iridescent in the light. They stack easily, won't get cutlery marks, and are dishwasher and microwave safe.
From his background as a chef, Matt Fishman brings similar values of handcraft and locally sourced ingredients to his pottery practice. All of his work is created with wild clay and glazes that he forages from clay, stone, and plant ash locally in the Sierra Nevada and Bay Area. With the earthy, rustic feel of his ceramics, he seeks to create a unique record of the geology of Northern California.
